Andrew Gamble was the Project Manager for the Deh Cho Bridge project until 2010. Through his company, Andrew Gamble & Associates, he was highly involved in the proposal from the beginning (2002 or earlier).
A professional civil engineer, Gamble served in a number of technical and management positions in the Department of Transportation from 1980-1996, ultimately as the Deputy Minister. He finished his public service with two years as the Secretary to Cabinet, the most senior and powerful civil servant role.
In June 2010, Gamble filed suit against the DCBC, claiming $534,000 in unpaid compensation. The suit was settled in March 2011 on undisclosed terms.
