Memorandum of Intent
The Memorandum of Intent (MOI) was the preliminary agreement signed between the Bridge proponents and the GNWT on November 15, 2002. It set out the general framework for an agreement (much of which would be developed into the Concession Agreement) and laid the basis for further negotiation and development.
The proponents were organized as the Fort Providence Combined Council Alliance, consisting of the Fort Providence Dene and Metis, and the Hamlet of Fort Providence. The MOI called for a special purpose corporation to be created, which became the Deh Cho Bridge Corporation, with the Dene and Metis as the original shareholders.
Transition Letter - outlines the legal framework which terminated the Concession Agreement and the DCBC involvement.
